Living End Concert
The Living End concert was awesome. I tried to take my nikon camera to the concert and got it inside fine, but I tried to take a photos to see what they were going to come out like during Kisschasy and security took the camera away (I got it back after the show). So I will eventually put those 3 photos up but Mum and Dad took the camera away with them to Yarrawonga. I have never been to Thebarton Theatre but it is an excellent venue, the PA system that had set up was a floor to ceiling (almost ceiling to about 3m above floor) array of speakers on each side with subs underneath them – it was loud. The lighting was huge for an Aussie band all intelligents – lots of them and they had a projector for their backdrop – not used for every song but for many of the new songs. Was good to hear many of the new songs live and still lots of the old ones, they played for about 90mins then went off for a couple and came back on for an encore (encores are so old cos just about every band does them you know they always going to come back out – expecially when they hadnt done one of their newer singles) of 2 songs. Was glad I went but not sure about the $50 price tag – but looking at the production of the event it doesnt surprise me at all the cost of it, hopefully they will come back again soon and play smaller venues – country pubs maybe (like they have done previously).
I tried to take some photos with the mobile phone – but they are pretty crappy (actually the camera side of the phone is REALLY CRAPPY)
