It’s Hot
Damn it was hot today – hottest day in 30 years I think the news said. At Parafield near where I live it got to a maximum of it got to a maximum of 42° and it is still 38.9° as I write this at 7:00pm. The temperature is set to be 30° overnight and 40° again tomorrow then with a cool change late in the day with Monday being a mild 30°, which will still be fairly warm. I am expecting it to be a fairly uncomfortable night, but we should leave the air conditioner on overnight which should help keep the temperature down a little. I am just hoping that in 2 weeks time it will be a little cooler with maximum temps of about 30° I don’t really want it to be too hot for Clipsal for myself and for the drivers and 3 weeks time will be Phil & Tamara’s wedding and don’t really want that to be too hot either.

Phillip Island, it was hard to enjoy the time down there with the heat, the smoke and the whole championship crap, but I am looking forward to Clipsal. However it is looking less and less likely that I will see much of it at the track. IBM one of our suppliers has gone and put an event on Thursday that I should probably attend and I know that the V8s are not out on Thursday but…
Still a bit undecided – will see how I go, don’t know if I will even take the camera – which is a bit of a shock – I don’t feel like having to sort through a stack of photos of fences.
