This time next week I will be at the Phillip Island circuit in preparation for the MotoGP race. I have a problem with my 18-200 lens for my camera so it is in the repair shop, sadly it wont be back in time. I decided to look into hiring a lens to take over – I managed to find an 80-200 with a 2x teleconverter for $90 for the weekend from L & P Photographics in SA. I am thinking about buying a 70-200 next year (a birthday present for myself ) so it will be good to try out a similar lens.

Well I am really looking forward to the boys weekend over there and the drive over should be good to have some company for a drive to Melbourne.

I am writing this whilst watching the pre-race entertainment for Bathurst – gee Jimmy Barnes daughter has a shocking voice – well that is how it is coming across on the TV, its funny when they don’t have effects all over a singers voice how bad some of them are:) well back to watching – I’ll post photos once I get back – I may even post a few over the weekend, I am taking works NextG card, just in case work needs me
